About Me I did my undergraduate work at Michigan State University. At MSU I acquired a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology. From there I attended Antioch University where I received a Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology.
I did my internship as a clinical therapist with AIDS Project Los Angeles. At APLA, I worked with people afflicted with HIV and AIDS. I did both individual and group work with my clients. I went on from APLA to work at The Way In Youth Shelter. At The Way In, I was a clinical therapist for displaced teenagers.
Next, I took a job as a Children’s Social Worker for The Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS). As a children’s social worker, I was directly involved in intervening in the lives of abused children and their families. I went on to lead groups and conduct individual therapy at Alternatives, a dual diagnoses drug recovery facility at Glendale Memorial Hospital. I further worked at the Alternatives Group Home and Partial Treatment Center as a clinical therapist. I have been in private practice for the past nine years.
